Introduction: Launching AI Tech Publishing has been a fascinating journey, and in this post, I’m pulling back the curtain to share exactly how it’s coming together. From AI-powered content creation to learning the ins and outs of WordPress and Elementor, every step is a learning experience. This post is for anyone curious about building a site from scratch using AI and practical tools, and those who want to follow along and learn from my successes — and my stumbles.

Why AI Tech Publishing? Why start a site focused on AI and tech publishing? It’s about combining a lifelong passion for technology with the growing opportunities in AI-driven content creation. I aim to teach others how to leverage AI tools for faster, more innovative publishing while documenting my progress. The target audience is creators, authors, and aspiring digital publishers who want to learn practical strategies for using AI to streamline their work.

How it All Started: On April 12, 2025, I was asking ChatGPT4 some questions about ClickBank, an affiliate website. At the end of the conversation, I put in the following prompt:

“Great job. A tough question, I plan to build a website and YouTube channel in the general niche of digital books and digital magazines. I am showing people how to create such items and building my brand of books and magazines. What general topics would most likely succeed over the next five years?”

As time passed, I got ideas for businesses and websites from ChatGPT. Seeing such a detailed plan come together so quickly was very exciting. The plan even included two web designs and monthly and weekly schedules. From the above prompt and others to follow, ChatGPT provided nearly 50 pages of a solid business plan for two websites: AI Tech Publishing and Senior Digital Lifestyle. AI Tech Publishing is up and running, but still needs some tweaking. Senior Digital Lifestyle will launch next month.

It would be great to show people how I partnered with AI to create two new businesses aligned around E-Publishing. Both brands are quite different. AI suggested AI Tech Publishing would grow faster initially, but Senior Digital Lifestyle could have more long-term potential.

Will ChatGPT be right or wrong? Can AI build a successful business alongside humans? This journey is a major experiment; you can join me by reading my blogs and watching my videos. Throughout the journey, I’ll share my prompts and AI’s responses, allowing you to see the exact strategies and adjustments I make along the way.

Learning the Tools: Building a website isn’t new, but WordPress has evolved significantly since I last used it. To get AI Tech Publishing off the ground, I chose WordPress for its flexibility and vast plugin library. Elementor was a natural fit for visually designing the site without extensive coding — a big plus when speed is a priority.

I enrolled in a Udemy Elementor training program, which was worth the investment. The course was current, easy to follow, and has saved me considerable time in building the website.

For content creation, I’m using Grammarly to refine the clarity and flow of each blog post. It’s more than just a spell checker; it’s an editing assistant that catches grammar mistakes, tone inconsistencies, and more. Grammarly also ensures AI-generated content reads naturally and professionally.

AI in Action: How does AI play a role in building this site? First, it’s been an invaluable brainstorming partner, helping to generate content ideas and refine outlines for blog posts like this one. AI is also being used to draft sections of content, which I then refine to maintain the brand’s voice.

ChatGPT, in particular, has been instrumental in breaking down complex concepts, simplifying explanations, and suggesting visual concepts for blog images and infographics. Additionally, I’m exploring AI-powered SEO tools to ensure that AI content will be optimized for search engines from the start.

Challenges and Solutions: It hasn’t all been smooth sailing. The biggest challenge so far has been organizing the content strategy while simultaneously learning new tools. Elementor, for example, has great design potential, but mastering its advanced features has been more time-consuming than expected.

I’m using AI to draft content outlines and streamline editing to manage the workload. Grammarly ensures content is polished, while ChatGPT helps refine ideas quickly without getting stuck in the writing process. The key takeaway? AI can’t replace human creativity, but can speed up the process.

One critical lesson learned is that writing effective AI prompts is a skill. It takes practice to communicate effectively with AI. Fortunately, after a year of working with ChatGPT, I’ve developed a knack for creating precise prompts that yield the best results.

Next Steps: I plan to explore AI-driven marketing more deeply and explore AI tools for email automation and social media management. Additionally, I’ll create more blog posts on specific AI tools for digital publishing and tutorials on using Elementor to build visually striking pages.

A significant focus will be on documenting my journey in building and selling e-books. Each project will have a dedicated blog series, allowing readers to follow along step-by-step, from concept to launch. There will be some missteps, but hopefully, more successes.

Later this year, I aim to explore how to create e-magazines for profit. Imagine an informative magazine packed with affiliate links to relevant products—it’s affiliate marketing on steroids.

Conclusion: Building AI Tech Publishing has been a rewarding — and sometimes challenging — experience.
